Dr. Adam Abdullah
Dr. Adam Abdullah is a Professor at the College of Economics and Management, Al-Qasimia University (AQU), U.A.E. He is currently the Acting Dean, and Head of the Dept. of Research, at the College of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and former Head of the Dept. of Economics at the College of Economics and Management. He was awarded the AQU Distinguished Academic Research Award in 2023. Dr. Adam was also the former Deputy Dean (Research & Publications) at the International Islamic University Malaysia’s (IIUM) Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (IIiBF). He holds a PhD in Islamic Economics from University Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and was awarded best PhD prize (2012). Dr. Adam specializes in Islamic economics & finance, has published 75 articles and books, and has presented at a number of international conferences, including as guest speaker. He has also supervised a number of PhD and Masters students in Islamic economics, finance and banking.
