Tanvir Khan
Tanvir Khan is an economics educator, mortgage advisor, and financial literacy advocate based in Wisconsin. He has taught economics, personal finance, and business courses for more than 26 years at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and Fox Valley Technical College. His work focuses on helping students, working-class families, and new immigrants build financial knowledge and avoid predatory lending.
In addition to teaching, Khan works in mortgage lending and takes an education-first approach to home financing, helping first-time buyers understand credit, affordability, and responsible borrowing. He volunteers with COMSA (Community Service Agency), a resource center serving immigrants and refugees, and collaborates with NeighborWorks Green Bay to promote housing education and financial literacy in underserved communities.
