NACIF Code of Conduct
As a participant, speaker, sponsor, exhibitor, or attendee at the North American Conference on Islamic Finance (NACIF), you are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct. This code applies to all conference-related events, whether officially organized by the conference team or not.
  1. Treat all participants with respect and consideration, valuing a diversity of views and opinions.
  2. Do not engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or sexual harassment and intimidation.
  3. Maintain a professional demeanor in all conference-related activities and interactions.
  4. Take responsibility for your safety and the safety of others.
  5. Follow all venue rules, guidelines, and safety instructions that conference organizers provide.
  6. Encourage and support the participation of all attendees, regardless of background or experience level.
  7. Share knowledge, ideas, and resources respectfully and constructively.
  8. Respect intellectual property rights and give proper credit to others for their contributions.
  9. Adhere to a modest and professional dress code.
Consequences of Violation
  1. Violations of this code of conduct may result in expulsion from the conference without a refund, leading to restrictions on future participation in conference events.
About NACIF

​The purpose of the North American Conference on Islamic Finance (NACIF) is to foster the sharing of global knowledge. It is an international forum for Islamic finance scholars and practitioners to discuss and collaborate on the various innovative practices that are being used in the Islamic finance industry. Ultimately, the goal of NACIF is to facilitate sustainable finance practices that benefit society at all levels.
