NACIF Code of Conduct
As a participant, speaker, sponsor, exhibitor, or attendee at the North American Conference on Islamic Finance (NACIF), you are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct. This code applies to all conference-related events, whether officially organized by the conference team or not.
- Treat all participants with respect and consideration, valuing a diversity of views and opinions.
- Do not engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or sexual harassment and intimidation.
- Maintain a professional demeanor in all conference-related activities and interactions.
- Take responsibility for your safety and the safety of others.
- Follow all venue rules, guidelines, and safety instructions that conference organizers provide.
- Encourage and support the participation of all attendees, regardless of background or experience level.
- Share knowledge, ideas, and resources respectfully and constructively.
- Respect intellectual property rights and give proper credit to others for their contributions.
- Adhere to a modest and professional dress code.
- Violations of this code of conduct may result in expulsion from the conference without a refund, leading to restrictions on future participation in conference events.
