Dina Abdelzaher, Ph.D.
Dr. Abdelzaher earned her Ph.D. from Florida International University in 2012. She is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Houston Clear Lake. Before transitioning to academia, she had a successful career in brand management and business consultancy. She has been recognized with multiple research awards and her works have been published in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Management, Journal of Business Ethics, International Business Review, International Journal of Conflict Management, The Academy of Management Perspectives, and Journal of International Management. Her research has also been presented at various academic conferences and institutions around the world.
At the University of Houston Clear Lake, Dr. Abdelzaher teaches courses in Management, International Business, Strategic Management, and Sustainability. These courses are offered at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, she served as the chair of the MBA committee at her school.
Dr. Abdelzaher’s research interests are categorized into three main themes: managerial challenges in international contexts, sustainability and climate change, and women's entrepreneurship. Besides her academic and research activities, she is actively involved in the community as the founder of the nonprofit organization "Youth for Better Houston."
