Dr. Farhat Nisar

Dr. Farhat Nisar has a Ph.D in Islamic Studies, from the National University of Modern Languages in Islamabad. Islamic Jurisprudence is Dr. Nisar’s primary area of focus. Currently, Dr. Nisar teaches at Comsats University, in Islamabad where she is not only a tenured associate professor, as well charge of the Humanities Department. In addition to a decade of teaching experience, Dr. Nisar has published more than 30 research papers in national and international journals. Dr. Nsar is also a member of BASR (Academic Board for approval of research work) at department of Shariah and Law, International Islamic University, Islamabad.  When not teaching and researching, Dr. Nisar contributes to her community by participating in Dawa'h and offering spiritual counselling services. ​
