Dr. Louay Abdulbaki

Dr. Louay Abdulbaki holds a PhD in Islamic Studies and has written and published more than 40 books, book-chapters and scholarly articles on Islamic education, Arabic studies, Islamic political thought, parenting, and other contemporary issues. He is the Director of Wisdom Consulting and Training and an Islamic education consultant with more than thirty years of experience in teaching and research. He is a former imam, director of several institutions, researcher/research fellow at Melbourne University and the University of Western Australia, Head of Islamic Studies and Arabic at several Islamic schools and has developed comprehensive Islamic education and Arabic language curricula, including more than 60 personalised textbooks for Islamic schools.
Dr. Abdulbaki is a current member of the Australian Fatwa Council, the Australian National Imams Council (ANIC) and the League of the Syrian Ulama (scholars).
